I was lookin’ for someone to love… but you were just lookin’ around.
Was that by Rod Stew? Surely, my old journ prof would yell at me for starting a piece with a vague statement like that without establishing where I was coming from. Oh well, I was coming from a super-charged weekend that got me into neverland.
Actually, I was walking in the rain (mentally) on the exotic island of Okinawa… flew over Tokyo… to DC, and then landed in Manila with a thud! Someone got the jetlag and I got the reality bite.
Spidey3 is showing in Manila theaters. I was supposed to go watch that with my creative staff if I didn’t catch the bug (from mentally walking in the rain in Okinawa?? ) Talk about going off-topic when things threaten to get out of hand, huh? Another minus point from my journ prof. Oh, but that’s easy to fix.
‘You see, Madam Prof, Spiderman thrives on his web. And… well, my virtual joys thrive on the worldwide web.’
Only…
I was lookin’ for someone to love… and he was just lookin’ around.
Funny how things connect, even if sometimes you’re barely treading the borders of coherent thought.
